This was a great local pub , with really friendly servers and delicious food! My husband and I had a nice lunch here that was reasonably priced - and not too busy!

Was passing through Maynooth on Tuesday evening 5.30pm.I stopped off at The Roost for something to eat. The roast beef melted on the fork. Amazing meal & lovely friendly service. I lived in Maynooth 20+ years ago & recognised the lady in the kitchen from way back. Nice to see some of the originals still there & still smiling. I will always make a point of stopping here in future. Great experience in a beautiful town.

We enjoyed my sis and her husband wedding celebration. Great place, nice atmosphere. Kid-friendliness: Children had fun too

Lovely local pub, food is very tasty and staffs helpful and friendly. I have a steak with mashed potatoes, vegetables and gravy, while my friend hamburgers, all dishes delicious!! And the best point of Guinness I already had in Ireland, fantastic! I'll definetely go back to Maynooth just to go in this pub.

Always a pleasant visit, staff are friendly and pub grub is tasty.
